Last updated:

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit harftek.com (the “Site”), use communication forms, reach us via e-mail or phone, or request information about Harftek products and services. The text is presented for transparency purposes; it does not replace the commercial and technical conditions separately agreed upon in a written offer, order, or contract.

Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed in connection with the Site and within the scope of general pre-sales communications (e.g., demo request, quote request, product information). In the event of establishing a customer relationship, the provisions in the commercial contract, invoice, and service documents may also apply to business and technical data.

The Site is operated by Pasifik Global Foreign Trade on behalf of the Harftek brand. In this text, the expression “we” refers to Pasifik Global Foreign Trade in its capacity as data controller, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Data Controller

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related legislation, the data controller is Pasifik Global Foreign Trade. Address and contact information are published on the Site, and you can also reach us via e-mail at satis@harftek.com.

Categories of Personal Data Processed

Only proportional and limited personal data connected with the following purposes are processed. Depending on your interaction, these may include:

  • Identity and contact: Name-surname, company title, job title, e-mail, phone, city, or country information shared in forms or your messages.
  • Communication content: Text of your request, attachments you choose to send, and technical records necessary for the transmission of the message (e.g., timestamp).
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and version, device type, general location via IP, viewed pages, referring address; diagnostic data collected through hosting logs, security tools, and analytical solutions if explicitly used.
  • Commercial electronic communication and marketing: Only when explicit consent or other conditions stipulated in the legislation are met, and in a way that you can manage your preference.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes, as appropriate:

  • Responding to your requests, providing quotes, organizing demos, and providing requested product information.
  • Operating, securing, and improving the Site (e.g., troubleshooting, prevention of abuse, performance measurement).
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, or regulatory requests, to the extent connected with your relationship).
  • In cases where it is mandatory for the establishment, use, or protection of legal rights.

Legal Grounds (Summary)

Action is taken in accordance with the personal data processing conditions regulated in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK. For example, the establishment or performance of a contract, the legitimate interest of the data controller (provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms), legal obligation, or your explicit consent in relevant cases can be used as a legal basis.

As a data subject, your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK are reserved; you can convey your requests to the data controller.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Mandatory cookies or similar technologies may be used for the operation, security, or infrastructure balancing of the Site. If optional analytical or marketing cookies are used, an explanation is provided through a separate cookie notification or approval tool where necessary, and they are only activated in accordance with the legislation and your preferences.

You can manage cookies from your browser settings; blocking mandatory cookies may affect some functions of the site.

Retention Periods

Personal data is stored for the period necessary for the purpose for which they are processed and for the minimum periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. Communication forms and e-mail correspondence are usually kept limited to the period necessary for fulfilling the request and reasonable follow-up; longer periods may be foreseen if there is an ongoing sales process, customer relationship, or legal storage justification.

Technical logs are generally kept for shorter periods for security and diagnostic purposes; they may be exceptionally extended when incident investigation is required.

Transferred Parties and Processors

Your personal data is not sold. It may be shared with reliable suppliers who process your data in accordance with our instructions for services such as hosting, e-mail transmission, IT support, or analytics if used. These parties are expected to take measures appropriate for confidentiality and security.

Information transfer may be made in cases where it is legally mandatory, requested by a court or administrative authority, or necessary for the protection of the rights of users, the public, or our business.

Transfer Abroad

Some of our service providers may be located abroad. When personal data transfer abroad is in question, measures appropriate to the conditions stipulated in the KVKK and secondary regulations and Board decisions (e.g., adequacy decision, undertaking, or standard contract) are taken.

Security

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are applied against the risks of loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure of personal data. Since full security of transmission over the internet is not possible, we recommend that you share sensitive information only to the extent necessary and prefer secure channels.

Your Rights

In accordance with KVKK art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, to request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the KVKK, to request notification of correction/deletion operations to third parties to whom it is transferred, to object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing it exclusively through automated systems, and to request compensation for the damage in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

You can apply to the data controller for your requests; we may request additional information to verify your identity. Your right to complain is reserved.

Children

Our Site and products are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think your child's data has been shared, write to us; we will evaluate the deletion or destruction processes in accordance with the legislation.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when there are changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When a new version is published, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page changes; we recommend that you review it periodically.

For your questions about this Privacy Policy or the processing of your personal data, or your requests within the scope of KVKK, you can reach Pasifik Global Foreign Trade at satis@harftek.com or through the communication channels on the site. We respond to your applications within the periods and procedures stipulated in the legislation.
